Head spin

My head is spinning with all the travel possibilities for next year.  Spent about 3 hours last night, (also watching Superman on TV), looking at a new website that I found.  It is in the links section of my blog in case you feel like killing a bit of time.  It has some fantastic trips, [...]

Time to reflect

Plenty of it actually, today was quiet as a mouse at work, with only about 5 of us in the office.  Luckily it didn’t drag too much, but most of my fill-in tasks have been done, so not sure how tomorrow will pan out.  On the exercise front, I did walk to the station this [...]

I have spent quite a bit of time today planning some potential travel options for 2009.  Not made any bookings as I am still pondering on a couple of choices and I have to get leave approved first. Xmas is ova

Update – back home in Acton – 19:42.  Another nice relaxing day today with Jeannette and Trish, sleep-in, some lunch and then train and tubes back home.

Twas the night before…

Oh, whoops sorry.  Not yet.  As my workmate Marina so  nicely put it, the day before, the day before Xmas!  Those of us still working are slowly going into wind-down mode.  Went out for some more drinks, this time at a different bar, the Union Bar which was very nice – just a few of [...]

Sunday sunday..la la la la la

***UPDATE – xmas shopping nearly finished now and I am quite tired again!. The tubes and buses were all frustratingly cancelled or delayed which didn’t help much either!
About the tree
In 2007, marking the 61st year of the tradition, the Norwegian Christmas tree was lit on 6 December by the Mayor of Oslo and the Lord Mayor of Westminster. [...]
